Youth Ballet I | Ages 12-18 | Wednesdays 4:30-6:00PM

Prerequisite: No experience needed. This class is great for the beginning dancer. This class is an introduction to classical ballet vocabulary and terminology. More advanced warm-up and stretches are taught. This class will focus on posture, alignment, balance, and coordination. They will learn barre combinations at the barre, center and across the floor. More advanced warm-ups and stretches are taught. This class will also learn choreography and perform a piece at the end of the Fall and Spring Semesters.

Dress Code: Black Leotard, Theatricals Adult Tank (N5501). Pink/flesh tone tights. Pink/flesh tone Ballet shoes. Use code at Boys: Plain, fitted white T-shirt, black tights or shorts, black shoes, or white socks with white shoes. Girls must have their hair secured in a bun. Students with long bangs need to have hair pinned back with hair clips or pulled back with a secure headband. Please use bobby pins as needed.
