Children’s Theater/Story Telling | Ages 8-11 | Saturdays 9:30-10:50AM

Students get to explore their personal capacities in this class: Voice, body and imagination. We will play games utilizing and enhancing the young storyteller’s imagination. Students will work with different texts, sounds and grammelot to wake up their voices. They will add rhythm and other physical exercises to help them engage their bodies. The last fabulous ingredient we will add is lots and lots of imagination.

We will mix all these ingredients and take them on a fun adventure into their own unique stories. What we will strive for in this class is to have the students learn in a very non-competitive and supportive atmosphere, to get rid of self-imposed limitations and experience greater possibilities. The class will culminate with the students’ performance of original stories and a short play.
