Prerequisite: Can play Bb, Eb, and F Major scales on instrument as well as one octave chromatic scale. Students will learn all aspects of jazz pedagogy. This course will teach the mechanics of improvisation, address how to learn through hearing instead of calculating and play in the rhythmic spirit of jazz and blues.
