Prerequisite: No experience required. This class is a beginning introduction to West African dance for young children. Students will learn simple dances and rhythms derived from Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria. The class will also include, warm ups, dance games, and cool downs, culminating in a winter and spring performances.
We request comfortable clothing for nonrestrictive movement no gum, food, shoes, socks, or stocking feet. Please bring a water bottle!
