Children’s West African Dance | Ages 6-9

This class is a beginning introduction to West African dance for young children. Students will learn simple dances and rhythms derived from Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria. The class will also include, warm ups, dance games, and cool downs, culminating in a winter and spring performances. This class is recommended for children ages 7 through 11.

Teacher request comfortable clothing for nonrestrictive movement no gum, food, shoes, socks, or stocking feet. Water bottle okay
