In this class, students will work towards a wider range of challenging physical movements and develop the ability to play in the “roda” or “circle” of capoeira, improvising movements of attack and defense while observing the rituals and proper manners of the game.
Continuing instruction in the musical instruments and songs (in Portuguese) assist the student to connect to the history and philosophy of the art, as well as the stories and outlook of it’s practitioners. Requirements: No requirement is needed.
