Prerequisite: At least two semesters of Guitar I and/or basic music theory and fret chord knowledge. This class introduce students to guitar performance and teaches them skills such as tuning, scales and chords, rhythm strumming, and also emphasizes on chord chart reading. A variety of musical styles and approaches will be examined with an emphasis on blues and jazz guitar.
Requirements: Must take beginning guitar or have at least two years experience, students need to bring their own guitar. The center does not provide a guitar for this class.
