This class will introduce the fundamentals of the Stanislavsky Method Acting Technique. Students will learn to use basic tools of the technique through a series of fun prepared
theatre exercises and structured improvisations. These tools will include character
development, psycho-physical actions, script analysis, and other specific techniques for the
stage. A monologue will also be selected for each student to apply the techniques they are
in the process of learning. The class will conclude with a final presentation of the
monologues for an invited audience.
