Prerequisite: No experience needed. This class is beginning/intermediate West African Dance. Students will learn complex dances from Ghana, Togo, Benin, and Nigeria. Classes will also include warm ups, stretches, cool downs learning traditional rhythms songs. This class culminates in winter spring performances. We request comfortable clothing for nonrestrictive movement, no gum, food, socks, shoes or stocking feet. Bring a water bottles!
