KJ Focus
KJ Focus, born Kalin Freeman, is a musician, saxophonist, producer and songwriter, and an alum of the East Bay Center for the Performing Arts. The Oakland native has made his name by moving confidently across R&B, neo-soul, jazz, hip-hop, reggae, Latin and tribal music.

Jazzschool Advanced High School Jazz Workshop
Young musicians from the Jazzschool Community Music School in Berkeley play a set of swinging, grooving music under the direction of instructor Colin Hogan. The Jazzschool teaches jazz, funk, brass band and contemporary styles to middle and high school students in ensembles, and the Advanced High School Jazz Workshop is one of its flagship groups. jazzschool.org

Namorados da Lua (NDL)
Back by popular demand, Namorados da Lua is one of the hottest Brazilian bands in the Bay Area. Nilo Ayele, a California resident originally from Bahia, Brazil, leads and produces the band, which brings together musicians from Brazil, North America, Africa and Europe who share a love of music with a positive message.

NDL blends reggae, jazz, pop, rock and funk with the Brazilian rhythms of samba, forró and axé. Most of their songs are originals about love, spirituality and family. Their lively music brings a feeling of tropical love, with the sun on your face and your feet in the sand, and a joyful, communal experience that celebrates our differences.

Come close out the year’s music with us on the Richmond Arts Corridor.
