Students will gain the basic knowledge and experience needed to compose, record, and produce music using digital audio workstations. During the 12 week course, an overview of technologies and techniques will be presented - Including MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface), Digital Audio Workstations (Logic), recording audio (acoustic instruments) with microphones, and the beginning stages of mixing and producing songs. The culmination and final project of the course will have students apply these techniques to compose, record, and produce an original song as a group.
