Prerequisite: At least 2 semesters of Pre-Teen Brass and/or can play and read at least 5 notes on instrument. Students should know at least 5 or 6 notes on their instrument by heart, and be able to read them on musical staff notation. They should also have a basic understanding of rhythm including quarter, eighth, half, and whole notes.
Center does not provide instruments for students. Students are to bring their own instruments to class. Please contact East Bay Center staff if you need assistance getting an instrument.
