DESCRIPTION:You’re invited to join us for two powerful evenings of music\, dance\, theater\, and more as our resident youth companies take the stage for Young Artist Repertory Series (YAR) 2025 — a culminating showcase of their artistic growth\, creative voice\, and vision. \nWhat is YAR? \nSince 1989\, the Young Artist Repertory Series has honored the journey of the East Bay Center’s most dedicated student artists. Rooted in our Deep Roots\, Wide World curriculum\, YAR reflects a broad cultural spectrum — West African music and dance\, Traditional Mexican Son\, jazz\, theater\, chamber music\, and voice — all brought together in one dynamic and inclusive space. \nUnder the guidance of professional faculty and mentors\, students work alongside accomplished adult artists to present both traditional masterworks and original creations. The result is a vibrant celebration of intergenerational art\, culture\, and community. \nOn May 9 only\, special guest performance by Robert Moses’ Kin dance company – don’t miss out! \nRSVP today!
