Project Description
Under the able and experienced direction of architect Mark Cavagnero Associates of San Francisco, the capital renovation and restoration project is segmented into two phases:
Phase I - $9,200,963 ($3,506,000 of which is currently funded)
Structural/seismic stabilization, major renovations, 1st and 2nd floor theaters, lower-level instructional space, and major tenant improvements, fire and life safety code updates, restoration of the historic façade; lower level tenant improvements, increased 3rd floor classroom/office space
Phase II - $960,700
Technical theater interior upgrades and modern theater equipment
We anticipate beginning construction of Phase I in the beginning of 2009 and completing the entire project in early 2010.
