REGISTRATION INFORMATION
We encourage all students to come to the Center and register in person. This way we can provide you with the best possible orientation to our program. Please Note: All students are required to check-in at the registration area on the first day of class so that we can make sure all the appropriate information is on file.

REGISTRATION FEES
At the beginning of each Fall and Spring session, we will collect the following amounts for GROUP CLASSES:
$15.00 per individual student or $30.00 per family
In September, we will collect one annual fee in the following amounts for PRIVATE LESSONS:
$30.00 per individual or $50.00 per family
**If you have paid the private lesson registration fee, you are not required to pay the group class registration fee**

CLASS FEES:
January 28- May 10, 2013
MON, 14 class sessions
45 min. to 1 hour class: $175.00
1.25 to 1.5 hour class: $262.00
TUES, WED, THURS, FRI, 15 class sessions
45 min. to 1 hour class: $187.00
1.25 to 1.5 hour class: $281.00
SAT, 13 class sessions
45 min. to 1 hour class: $162.00
1.25 to 1.5 hour class: $243.00
PRIVATE LESSON FEES:
Lessons are ongoing except when the Center is closed for holidays and session breaks. Two weeks notice is required to discontinue private lessons. Fees for private lessons are billed at the following rates:
Half-hour lesson $20.00
Forty-five minute lesson $27.00
One hour lesson $35.00
DISCOUNTS
GROUP CLASSES:
a. Multiple Class Discount:
$10.00 for each additional class
b. Family discount:
$20.00 off class fee for immediate family members
c. Private instrument student discount:
50% off one group class
PRIVATE LESSONS:
a. Family discount:
$2.00 off each lesson for immediate family members
FINANCIAL AID
For financial aid applications contact us by calling (510) 323-2495 (Español), (510) 323-2492 (English), or come in during our registration hours Monday - Friday 4:00 pm - 8:30 pm and Saturday 9:00 am - 3:00pm. Scholarship applications should be received no later than Wednesday, Jan 12. If you miss this deadline, we may still consider your application if funds are still available.

The Center will be closed on the following days:

AGE RECOMMENDATIONS
All age recommendations are based on our experience and are to be used as a guide to finding the right level and class. Students whose age falls outside the recommended range may enroll in the classes with the instructor’s prior permission and a formal note to the registrar’s office. If you have any questions about our age appropriate guidelines, please speak with the registrar and ask to consult with senior staff or faculty. Adult students are warmly welcome at the Center.
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION:
Private instruction is currently offered in violin, piano, voice, trumpet, trombone, cello, guitar, bass guitar, composition, dance, flute, clarinet, percussion, and saxophone.
