All students accepted into the Diploma program receive full scholarship. A full scholarship in the Diploma Program generally covers 43 weeks of program each year. When you add up the costs of private lessons, group classes, summer intensive training, ensemble rehearsals, performance opportunities, workshops, field trips, costumes, instruments, college and career counseling, recital fees, portfolio documentation (video, audio, photos), insurances, facility and administration costs; the average diploma student scholarship is worth approximately $7,500 each year.

As all Diploma students receive scholarships, during each 12 month period diploma parents or guardians are required to volunteer for a minimum of 15 hours. Duties include serving as extra concert personnel, potlucks, field trip chaperones, administrative help, production and program support.
