SUPPORT THE CENTER
Giving to the Capital Campaign
In the fall of 2010, we were honored to have received a $1 Million Matching Grant Award from the Kresge Foundation (link to recent press release). While this has been exciting news for us, we continue to depend on generous donors to help us raise matching funds and complete the Winters Building renovation.
Many have joined us on our mission. From our founding institutional investors, the City of Richmond, The Richmond Community Redevelopment Agency, the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and the California Cultural and Historical Endowment (CCHE), to current investors like JPMorgan Chase, to private individuals dedicated to achieving a beautiful downtown center for Richmond, the people of this region are coming together to see a compelling vision realized.
With such an exciting goal in sight, and the Winters Building looking more and more like a
performance arts center every day, your impact will be great. We are excited to share with you the opportunities ahead.
Giving to East Bay Center for the Performing Arts Core Projects and Programs
No program in the arts can hold its organizational head above water and fulfill its mission without the ongoing assistance of people who know the value of the arts in education, in growing interesting, self-directed individuals, and in bringing people together as community.
The Center is no exception. Your gift will provide students in Richmond, Contra Costa and other
counties nearby with an exemplary arts education, ensure that students will have continued access to outstanding faculty and needed equipment, and extend essential support services to parents as well as school-and neighborhood affiliated groups throughout the East Bay.
